“As we continue to age, it is essential to keep moving and exercising,” stated Graves. “Not only does staying active help combat a sedentary lifestyle, but it also helps to improve one’s overall quality of life and prevent or minimize disease progression like obesity, cardiovascular disease and lung disease. I thoroughly enjoyed meeting the residents at Sinai and sharing my knowledge with them.”

Designed for community-dwelling older adults aged 60 and over, Graves conducts free FAU-Well Program sessions on Mondays and Wednesday from 8 to 9 a.m., FAU Campus Recreation, Studio B, on the Boca Raton campus.

The Sinai Residences event was organized by the FAU Foundation, Inc. as part of its Florida Atlantic Speaks series.
